Job Title: Android Developer (System Level, Firmware, Security)

Role Overview

Join INOI to build the core Android platform powering millions of devices worldwide.

You will work on firmware customization, system services, and platform security —

ensuring performance, reliability, and seamless updates across smartphones, tablets, and connected devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system-level Android services and firmware components.
• Customize AOSP builds, integrate hardware and security modules.
• Optimize platform performance and memory footprint.
• Implement and validate Android security mechanisms (SELinux, Verified Boot, KeyStore).
• Collaborate with hardware, backend, and QA teams to deliver reliable firmware releases.
• Conduct deep debugging and performance analysis (adb, systrace, perf).

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of commercial Android development, including AOSP or system apps.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture (Framework, System Services, HAL).
• Strong skills in Java/Kotlin and working knowledge of C/C++ (NDK/JNI).
• Experience in firmware builds and Android security principles.
• Familiarity with Binder/IPC, AIDL, and DevicePolicyManager.
• Nice to have: OTA, Verified Boot, SEAndroid, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
