As a Senior Blockchain Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high impact blockchain infrastructure and applications that support MTNG Chain’s mission of “Blockchain. Green. Global. Growth.”

You’ll join a cross-functional team of developers, architects, auditors and consultants working across client engagements in fintech, supply chain, sustainable tech and Web3.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Blockchain Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Architecting, implementing and deploying blockchain networks (public, permissioned or hybrid) that meet enterprise performance, security and scalability requirements.
• Designing and building smart contracts, tokenization frameworks, and decentralized applications (dApps) tailored to client business-cases including DeFi, NFT marketplaces, supply-chain, payments.
• Conducting or contributing to smart contract audits, vulnerability assessments and implementing mitigation strategies aligned with industry best-practices (e.g., reentrancy, overflow, access control, gas-optimizations).
• Collaborating with product, design and business-consulting teams to translate client visions into blockchain-ready solutions, helping shape discovery, design & deployment phases (following MTNG’s workflow: Discovery → Design & Development → Deployment & Support).
• Optimizing consensus mechanisms or chain-configurations to support sustainable, energy-efficient (“green”) operations evaluate alternative protocols, staking/validator models, energy-offset strategies.
• Ensuring robust integration of blockchain systems with traditional backend services, APIs, wallets, and frontend Web3 interfaces.
• Establishing and maintaining metrics, instrumentation and dashboards to monitor blockchain performance (throughput, latency, error-rates, contract invocation volumes) and operational health of nodes/validators.
• Driving automation of CI/CD pipelines for blockchain deployments, testing frameworks for smart contracts (unit, integration, security), and ensuring production-grade operability.
• Mentoring and guiding junior blockchain engineers, code-reviewing, and contributing to the engineering “scorecards” and best-practices for the team.
• Staying current with blockchain research/trends (Layer 2, roll-ups, zero-knowledge proofs, interoperability bridges, token standards ERC-20/ERC-721/ERC-1155, etc.) and recommending relevant adoption or experimentation.
• Participating in client-facing engagements: presenting technical architecture, providing consultation, articulating ROI, building trust in MTNG Chain’s capability to deliver blockchain solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3-7+ years focused on blockchain development (smart contracts, chain/protocol work, dApps).
• Deep expertise in one or more smart-contract languages (e.g., Solidity, Vyper), and frameworks (Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry).
• Proven track record of architecting and shipping production blockchain systems (public or private) including consensus design/configuration, node infrastructure, chain-monitoring, governance or validator setup.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic primitives, tokenomics models, consensus protocols (PoW, PoS, PoA, etc.), and blockchain scalability/security trade-offs.
• Experience with Web3 frontend/backend integration: wallets (Metamask, WalletConnect), RPC/API layers, off-chain/oracle integration.
• Strong competence in backend systems (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust), REST/GraphQL, and database/ledger design.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling for blockchain: containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD, monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Etherscan-style indexing tools).
• Demonstrated ability to define and track engineering metrics (throughput, latency, failure-rates), build dashboards, and optimize system performance.
• Excellent communication skills able to engage with non-technical stakeholders, translate technical trade-offs in business terms, articulate value/ROI of blockchain solutions.
• Experience mentoring other engineers and building engineering best-practices, code-review culture, documentation standards.
• Passion for sustainability in blockchain and willingness to engage with “green” blockchain paradigms and energy-efficient protocols.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Layer 2 scaling (roll-ups, sidechains), zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs, zk-STARKs).
• Working knowledge of tokenization of real-world assets, NFTs, DeFi protocols (AMMs, yield-farming, staking).
• Experience in enterprise blockchain platforms (Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Quorum) or integrating public/private hybrid chains.
• Knowledge of international blockchain regulation/compliance (KYC/AML, GDPR, cross-border payments) complementary to MTNG Chain’s global consulting services.
• Experience working in multi-time-zone, remote/distributed engineering teams.
• Publications, OSS contributions, or speaking engagements in blockchain ecosystems.
