Job Overview

The Chief Innovation Officer (CINO, Americas) will serve as a senior member of DigiFinex’s executive leadership team, responsible for leading innovation strategy, product development, and technology-driven initiatives across the Americas.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CINO will oversee emerging technology adoption, innovation programs, operational modernization, and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and regional market priorities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced innovation leader with deep knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, or digital asset ecosystems. They will have a proven ability to design and implement transformative initiatives, drive technological and operational innovation, and deliver measurable business outcomes in competitive and regulated markets.

Key Responsibilities

Innovation Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute DigiFinex’s innovation strategy for the Americas, aligned with corporate objectives.

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on emerging technologies, market trends, and operational innovation opportunities.

Define KPIs, success metrics, and frameworks to evaluate innovation initiatives, product development, and business impact.

Ensure consistent execution of global innovation standards, processes, and governance frameworks.

Product & Technology Innovation

Lead initiatives to design, develop, and scale innovative solutions and digital products that drive business growth and customer value.

Oversee the adoption of emerging technologies, including blockchain, AI, and fintech innovations, to enhance DigiFinex’s capabilities.

Collaborate with product, technology, operations, and business teams to integrate innovation into enterprise platforms.

Represent DigiFinex at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings to showcase innovation capabilities and thought leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with product, marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure innovation initiatives align with regional and global objectives.

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing innovation and product strategy teams, fostering creativity, accountability, and results-driven execution.

Promote a culture of transparency, experimentation, and continuous improvement across innovation and strategic functions.

Ensure alignment between regional innovation initiatives and headquarters’ long-term strategy.

Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Monitor KPIs, adoption metrics, and operational impact of innovation initiatives to evaluate effectiveness.

Leverage data-driven insights to optimize processes, products, and solution deployment.

Support executive reporting to the CEO and board on innovation performance, emerging opportunities, and strategic risks.

Qualifications

Over 20 years of senior leadership experience in innovation, product strategy, technology, or digital transformation within cryptocurrency, fintech, or digital asset sectors.

Proven track record of leading innovation initiatives that deliver measurable business and operational outcomes.

Deep understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, emerging fintech solutions, and enterprise ecosystems.

Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with experience influencing executive-level decisions.

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, computer science, or related discipline required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
