Job Description & Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP Basis Manager to manage the SAP technical operations across our enterprise landscape. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, technical architecture, and infrastructure planning, particularly within RISE with SAP, SAP Private Cloud, and SAP Public Cloud environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability while aligning with business and IT objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Support and Lead the SAP Basis team in managing, supporting, and optimizing all SAP systems across development, QA, pre-production, and production landscapes.

Oversee system installations, upgrades, migrations, and configurations across ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, PI/PO, Fiori, and BTP integrations.

Manage SAP environments hosted on RISE with SAP, SAP Private Cloud, and Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Collaborate with SAP, hyperscalers, and internal stakeholders to ensure system availability, scalability, and performance.

Provide technical governance and oversight for SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.

Ensure best practices are followed for SAP system monitoring, tuning, backup, recovery, and security.

Drive automation, documentation, and standardization of SAP technical operations.

Coordinate and manage incidents, problems, and changes related to SAP systems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.

Participate in capacity planning and system sizing in collaboration with infrastructure and SAP functional teams.

Support SAP Private Cloud Edition (PCA) engagements, including all presales technical activities such as solution scoping, architecture design, infrastructure sizing, technical assessments, and alignment with SAP RISE offerings.


Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

Proven experience managing SAP landscapes in RISE with SAP, SAP Private Cloud, and Public Cloud environments.

Strong expertise in SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and related infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP BTP.

Deep understanding of SAP security, performance tuning, transport management, and disaster recovery.

Experience in planning and executing system copies, migrations (DMO/ SUM), and upgrades.

SAP certifications in HANA, S/4HANA, Partner cloud architect and cloud administration are preferred.
