Founding Designer

About the role

Institutional rental housing is being rebuilt from the ground up. The old world of CRMs, spreadsheets, and fragmented workflows can’t keep up with modern portfolios. Lette is creating an AI-native, agentic back office that automates property operations end to end.

As our founding designer, you’ll work directly with the founders, engineers, and early customers to shape the backbone of a new category where AI agents, automation, and human intuition converge. This isn’t a narrow design role, you’ll influence product strategy, define user experience, and set the creative direction for how our platform feels and functions.

You’ll own design end to end, turning complex AI systems into experiences that feel simple, elegant, and powerful. You’ll prototype quickly, validate ideas in the wild, and collaborate closely with engineering to ship meaningful features fast. You’ll help define how our AI agents interact, learn, and deliver value and build the design system that scales with them.

We move fast, cut scope ruthlessly, and ship value daily. You’ll shape not just the product, but the design culture and DNA of the company from day one.

What you'll bring

You’ve spent a few years building real products in a fast-moving startups or scale-ups. You have end-to-end ownership experience, from research and insight to high-fidelity design and a strong sense of product thinking.

You care deeply about intent, not just aesthetics. You take initiative, spot problems before they grow, and drive them to completion. You collaborate easily with engineers and founders, and you thrive in environments with more questions than answers.

Bonus points

• You ship code or build working prototypes.
• You’ve designed AI-powered or workflow-heavy SaaS products.
• You have experience in proptech, operations tools, or B2B platforms.
