About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our talented Data team at Tenth Revolution Group. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s mission to build scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions that drive enterprise-wide transformation. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and business stakeholders, to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and solutions. This is a delivery-focused position that offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be instrumental in enabling data accessibility, integrity, and security, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, particularly within the Microsoft technology stack. Essential qualifications include experience working with SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles. Proven experience in creating and managing ETL pipelines is crucial, with a preference for candidates experienced in using SSIS. Familiarity with working in regulated environments is highly desirable, demonstrating an ability to adhere to compliance standards and data governance policies. Additionally, experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization would be advantageous. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies to meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to facilitate data integration from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative data solutions that support business objectives.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and promote best practices within the team.
• Create comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, processes, and solutions to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
• Support data governance and compliance initiatives, ensuring data security and regulatory adherence across all projects.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve data engineering processes and workflows.
