Shopify Developer Intern

This contract role is for a Shopify Developer Intern and is fully remote. The Shopify Developer Intern will assist in building, testing, and maintaining e-commerce websites, working closely with cross-functional teams. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, debugging code, customizing Shopify themes, and ensuring functionality on Shopify's platform. The intern may also participate in technical discussions and collaborate on optimizing website performance.

• Proficiency in Shopify development, including customization of themes and usage of Shopify APIs
• Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and Shopify platform features
• Problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities, especially in remote settings
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git is a plus
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
