SR React Native Engineer - (LATAM only)

For our client, first level company, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr React Native Engineer to join the team.

Type: Contract (Full-Time hours), 3-month initial, extendable)

This position is 100% remote, open to candidates located in LATAM and available to work during U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours.

Start: ASAP (targeting immediate onboarding)

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end app features (UI → data layer) from well-defined tickets.
• Implement content feeds, profiles, gamified challenges, and leaderboard/points UI.
• Write robust unit/integration tests (Jest, RN Testing Library) and help maintain quality bars.
• Collaborate on API consumption, error states, offline handling, and accessibility.
  

Requirements

• 4+ years React Native with TypeScript.
• Strong with React Query (or equivalent), form handling, and navigation.
• Comfortable integrating REST/GraphQL endpoints and handling pagination/caching.
• Testing discipline and familiarity with basic performance tooling.
  

Nice to have

• PlayFab SDK integration experience.
• Detox (E2E), animations (Reanimated), react-native-skia.
• Media-heavy UI or social/UGC style apps.
• Tooling: React Native, TypeScript, React Query, Redux/Zustand, Reanimated, Skia (optional), Jest/Detox, EAS/Fastlane, GitHub Actions/Bitrise, Sentry, Firebase/Segment, PlayFab (or equivalent)

• Agile sprints, clear deliverables, pragmatic documentation; occasional short, time-boxed push to hit milestones
