We’re looking to connect with experienced Fractional Chief Data Officers (CDOs) who can provide strategic data leadership across diverse organizations. This role is ideal for visionary leaders who are passionate about transforming data into tangible business value, establishing strong data governance, and fostering a data-driven culture.

This opportunity is perfect for seasoned data executives who have a proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive data strategies, building scalable data platforms, and driving analytics initiatives that yield significant business outcomes. Whether you’ve been a CDO, Head of Data, VP of Data & Analytics, or a data strategy consultant with executive oversight, this role offers the flexibility to apply your expertise across multiple high-impact companies.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy aligned with overall business objectives, including data acquisition, storage, quality, and utilization.
• Establishing and enforcing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Leading the design, implementation, and optimization of data architectures, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Overseeing data analytics and business intelligence initiatives, transforming raw data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Driving the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes across all levels of the organization.
• Managing and integrating various data sources, both internal and external, to create a unified view of organizational data.
• Advising on data privacy, security, and ethical data use to mitigate risks and build trust.
• Coaching and mentoring data teams, fostering a culture of curiosity, analytical rigor, and innovation.
• Evaluating and implementing data-related technologies and tools (e.g., AI/ML platforms, visualization tools).
• Acting as an executive thought partner to founders or CEOs on all aspects of data strategy, monetization, and innovation.

Key Requirements May Include:

• Proven experience in a senior data leadership, data analytics, data governance, or executive consulting role.
• Track record of successfully developing and implementing enterprise-wide data strategies that drive measurable business value.
• Deep expertise in data governance, data architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and security best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional leadership abilities, comfortable engaging with C-suite and boards.
• Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for turning data into insight.
• Prior experience as a fractional, interim, or consulting executive is a strong plus.
