Role Summary

Awakn is offering a 2-month paid Data Analysis Internship for motivated individuals based in Nottingham who are eager to gain hands-on experience in analytics and AI-driven business solutions. This remote internship is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to strengthen their technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills while contributing to live data projects under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis.
• Use Excel, SQL, and Python to extract, analyse, and interpret data.
• Help develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights.
• Conduct market or performance research to support project goals.
• Support consultants in applying data insights to business strategy.
• Document findings and maintain structured data records.

Required Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of Excel; basic familiarity with SQL or Python.
• Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively while working remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to statistics, predictive analytics, or academic data projects.
• Prior internship or project experience in data analysis.
