What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Assist in the support and documentation of DAST, IaC, SAST, and SCA solutions, including operational processes
• Support security and technology operations to maintain the availability and security of deployed applications
• Operate vulnerability scanning to identify potential security risks
• Collaborate with engineering staff to investigate and remediate vulnerabilities
• Provide support for Security Operations and Incident Response efforts
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Knowledge of common threat vectors, methodologies, and payloads/exploits
• Base application programming knowledge is desired
• Strong interdepartmental communication skills
• Operational experience with security scanning tools such as BrightSec, Mend, and Snyk
• AA/AS degree combined with 1+ years of overall application security experience and/or application development experience
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Information security industry-recognized certification(s) such as GSEC or Security+
• Operational experience with security automation using Python
• Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and practices
• Familiarity with forensic practices and procurement processes
• Working knowledge of ITIL, including incident, problem, and change management
