We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our Australia-based remote team. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure — ensuring data is accessible, accurate, and ready for analysis across the organisation.

This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in modern data engineering and cloud technologies.

• Develop, test, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL workflows
• Integrate and transform data from multiple internal and external sources
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to deliver clean, reliable datasets
• Automate manual data processes and optimise performance
• Support data modelling, storage, and architecture initiatives
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and system performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or software development (internships welcome)
• Basic proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and relational databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Based in Australia with full working rights (Citizen / PR / valid work visa)
