What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Perform hands-on gap and risk assessments to identify and document significant information security risks
• Collaborate with technical engineering teams to implement effective security controls while maintaining operational efficiency
• Develop and track security remediation efforts to completion
• Provide security consulting services to business owners and partners
• Support the Security Risk Assessment methodology, policy, strategy, and process
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 8+ years of information security experience working within the technical arena
• Experience implementing or assessing security in a cloud-hosted environment
• Knowledge of security technologies, information systems, and risk assessment methodologies
• Demonstrable ability to take initiative and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
• A bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Computer Science
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance programs and their technical and security requirements (PCI, SOX, etc.)
• Proven technical background in IT systems and networking in Cloud environments
• Familiarity with AWS (or similar) cloud security and infrastructure
• Technical certifications in the area of Security (CISSP, CCSK, CCSP or equivalent)
• Experience with security standards such as ISO 27001, 27002, 27005; NIST, COBIT, ITIL
