Senior Business Intelligence Developer

InCorp Vietnam is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer for our client. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in required softwares, and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

● Designs and develops Business Intelligence solutions using PowerBI.

● Works with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes, and translates them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI solutions

● Develops and supports software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.

● Effectively visualize data in reporting applications (eg., Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau) to provide business value and answer business questions.

● Collaborate with Data Engineers to assist in supporting data warehousing solutions.

● Design and develop reporting application scripts that import data from data marts or transactional systems and unit test the data extractions to verify they meet customer requirements.

● Understand and promote use of tools and applications supported by the Analytics Team.

● Gather the requirements for new reporting projects and provide development estimates.

● Investigate and resolve problems with reporting applications in a production support environment.

● Design and implement Power BI data strategies and models that support complex reporting and analytics and ensure optimal performance and scalability.

● Implement security measures within Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and compliance.

● Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively, minimizing load times, and enhancing user experience.

● Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing of Power BI reports and dashboards. Document software defects, resolve, and re-test to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.

Qualifications

● Minimum 5 years Power BI experience

● 5+ years of data modeling experience including use of standard patterns such as Star Schema modeling.

● 5+ years working with relational databases (eg., SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, and or any RDBMS etc.)

● 5 years of experience working in a data warehouse environment and a strong understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts

● Advanced level experience in SQL
