Position Summary
The Senior Oracle Programmer Analyst will design, develop, and support complex business applications within a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in Oracle development, end-to-end SDLC experience, and the ability to collaborate with business users. The ideal candidate will operate independently, serve as a Subject Matter Expert in multiple functional areas, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex development projects independently
- Act as SME in two or more business areas
- Design, develop, and configure highly complex technical solutions
- Gather requirements and translate into functional/technical specifications
- Work closely with business users and cross-functional teams
- Create detailed system documentation and provide alternative solutions
- Support existing systems while enhancing new applications
- Mentor junior programmers/analysts
- Ensure protection of company systems and data assets
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5–8 years’ experience in application development and analysis
- Oracle Designer/Developer
- SQL & PL/SQL expertise
- Strong full life-cycle development experience (analysis → coding → testing → deployment)
- Solid understanding of database structures and business processes
- Project management and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage timelines
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing or agriculture industry
- Exposure to ERP systems and business process automation
