Job Description
We're looking for a Computer Scientist (m/f/x) to join our small and innovative software company in the mobility sector.
PAXX is a scale-up that provides technical solutions for problems in the mobility sector. More specifically, we operate in the sector doelgroep vervoer, think people with wheelchairs, people going home after a hospital visit, children going to a special-needs school, transport for the elderly, and any person with mobility obstacles.
Our systems run 24x7x365, servicing thousands of people in the Netherlands every day, and millions trips per year. We now touch most provinces in the Netherlands and are expanding nationally and planning global expansion. We are working on adding many new features to keep helping people and expanding further. Furthermore, we have a state-of-the-art real-time planning engine that dynamically assigns a diverse array of trips to cars for shared transport. Imagine combining trips with different configurations of wheelchairs, passengers, baggage, and seating preferences with several buses, taxis, and vans, while taking traffic conditions, and pickup/dropoff rules into account, and most importantly, getting the output in a few seconds.
We run a tight ship with 4 engineers/scientists, 2 business development specialists and 1 executive. We are located on the TU Delft campus, and most of us have done their Masters at TU Delft.
