About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering large-scale, mission-critical enterprise systems. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, strong architectural vision, and proven experience working with government or highly regulated organizations. You will lead solution design, integration, and delivery for complex, secure, and scalable platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Enterprise Solutions: Design secure, scalable, and high-availability architectures for mission-critical systems across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Technical Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams in implementing architectural best practices, frameworks, and standards.
• System Integration: Develop and oversee integration strategies across APIs, legacy systems, and modern platforms to ensure interoperability.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all designs meet regulatory, security, and data privacy standards relevant to government or regulated industries.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Define and optimize cloud-based or hybrid architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to translate business goals into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certifications preferred: TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or equivalent.

Experience

• 10+ years in solution or enterprise architecture, with hands-on experience in large-scale, regulated environments.
• Proven record of architecting and delivering enterprise-grade, mission-critical systems.
• Expertise in microservices, API-driven design, and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Python, .NET, or similar enterprise technologies.
• Strong grasp of integration patterns, data management, and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership experience in guiding teams and managing multiple complex projects.

The role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the company will provide visa sponsorship and cover flight arrangements for the candidate joining our team.
