Facility & Energy management is rapidly emerging as the cornerstone of a sustainable and efficient future. With our large product portfolio, we integrate advanced technologies like IoT sensors to AI-driven analytics to help facilities optimize energy consumption, reduce cost and enhance operational efficiency.
In this role, you will be one of our leaders for our development teams. Oversee design, development and delivery of high-quality software solutions for Facility & Energy Management. Together with your teams in Mangalore and in close collaboration with your Scandinavian colleagues, you will influence in the areas of engineering leadership, technical strategy, code quality and performance.

As part of the department
You will have more than 30 colleagues who strive to create the market's best software solutions for Facility & Energy Management. You will be responsible for running one of our teams in Mangalore and you will be the daily link between this team and our team in Scandinavia. When it’s time for the team to grow you will be part of the process of recruiting new team members.
Responsibilities:
The most important responsibility is to ensure that the team operates efficiently and effectively to achieve its goals. This involves fostering a productive work environment, providing clear direction, and supporting team members in their roles.
You will in other words:
- Act as daily manager for the development team, accountable for day-to-day people management.
- Ensure in collaboration with PO, stories and epics are understood correctly.
- Help team design how, stories and epics gets implemented into working solution,
- Focus on driving team engagement, productivity and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Support manager in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
You are the ideal candidate if
You have experience with leading and inspire a team in modern software development, primarily on a .Net tech stack. Maybe you previously worked with case management or document handling software or something close to this. It will be a plus if you have previously become familiar with building case management software, but it is not a requirement.
Fixed requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/information science, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong technical background from any of these areas: .Net development, DevOps Engineer, Mobile App Developement(Android/ IOS), Frontend Development (AngularJS)
- Experience with microservices is an added advantage
- Exceptional communication prowess, with the ability to seamlessly interact and collaborate with teams of diverse backgrounds across various geographical locations.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Display a commitment to continuous learning and the development of skills and talents.
- Interested in learning Scandinavian or European ways of working and culture.
- Location: Residing in Mangalore, or open to relocation.
