Quality Assurance Engineer

We are in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer to help supplement the growth & scaling of the company.

We are looking for a highly motivated, result driven technology individual, who has strong technical skills. Our need is for a creative and talented Computer Science graduate with more than 3 years of experience. Able to perform software testing including designing and execution of test cases. Perform software feature analysis, test case analysis, user story analysis, software review and defect tracking system.

This is a remote role. Must be able to work EST hours.

What we are looking for:

• Firm understanding of quality assurance practices
• Analyzing requirements and writing test cases based on limited details
• Work closely with developers to debug/test product features
• Understanding of client-side web development
• Familiarity with SQL tools and general database concepts
• Passion in learning test automation
• Proficient in any coding language
• Strong attention to detail encompassing visual design, typography, templates, colors, margins, and UX
• Positive attitude and mindset for learning and development
• Outstanding communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or science-related

Requirements:

• 3+ Years of relevant Quality Assurance
• Prepare technical testing scenarios and documentation
• Perform Quality Assurance for web/mobile applications
• Analyze requirements, create and execute test scripts
• Understand test methodologies and techniques of web/ mobile app
• Knowledge of relational database technology and SQL
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Must be able to write SQL queries
• Exp with Selenium a must
• Proficient in a coding language is a plus
• Knowledge in API testing or functional automated tools is a plus
• Experience with white box testing a plus
• Solid cross-group collaboration skills and working within a software test and development team
• Ability to deal with changing priorities
• Must be highly motivated, well organized
• Assist our small QA team with the application of testing processes in our fast-paced environment
• Learn applications and business rules with little direction
• Demonstrate proactive ownership of issues and problems

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $65,000- $75,000.  In addition to base pay, the total compensation package may also include benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
