Position Description:

We have an urgent need for a Shopify Architect on a 6–8-month project, we’d love your help with. Please see a rough JD below:

Location: Remote (CDT) Good to find someone in Dallas, TX as client might ask to come once in a while to Office

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly Shopify Architect with a strong background in eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications that drive exceptional user experience and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of scalable, responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Build and customize Shopify themes, apps, and integrations to support commerce functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and backend engineering to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in eCommerce and web development.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end or full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
• Proven experience with Shopify development, including Liquid templating, theme customization, and app integration.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and headless commerce architectures.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
