Senior Network Architect

Title: Juniper SME (Healthcare Experience Required)

Location: 100% Remote (occasional on-site meetings as needed)

Duration: Long-Term Contract (40+ hours per week)

Rate: 75-80/hr

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Juniper Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our healthcare client’s network infrastructure. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering full remote flexibility, with only occasional on-site meetings once the consultant is fully up to speed. The current Juniper resource is transitioning to a new role, and we are looking to bring in a seasoned professional who can ensure seamless continuity and maintain a high-performing network environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Juniper network expert, supporting design, configuration, and troubleshooting across enterprise healthcare environments.
• Manage and optimize Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure network reliability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders to analyze network performance and implement improvements.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and integration initiatives as part of ongoing infrastructure projects.
• Document network configurations, policies, and procedures in alignment with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).
• Provide advanced-level support for network incidents, outages, and escalations.
• Mentor internal staff and assist in knowledge transfer to strengthen in-house network operations.
