Mobile Application Developer | Flutter

About The Role

We're hiring a Mobile App Developer to work on Flutter projects at AppUp Labs. Our clients are in health/fitness, edtech, and finance. You'll be part of a small team dedicated to a specific client, building apps that work reliably and scale well.

What You'll Do

• Build features and fix bugs for our client projects
• Share what you know with the team and pick up new skills along the way—we document things and try out new approaches
• Work with product owners, designers, QA, and other developers to ship quality code
• Help out junior developers when they need it
• Be part of our Flutter community, where we discuss better ways to do things

What We're Looking For

• You've worked professionally with Flutter—we care about what you've built, not how many years of experience you have
• You know the Flutter ecosystem—libraries, tools, how things work
• You've used TDD or DDD
• You enjoy working in small agile teams
• You can translate Figma designs into smooth, fast mobile apps
• You've integrated AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, that sort of thing)
• You've worked with Supabase or Firebase when there's no backend API
• You use AI coding tools like Cursor or Copilot
• You write clear documentation

• Flutter and Dart (latest versions)
• State management: flutter_bloc/mobx
• Dependency management: get_it, injectable
• API calls: dio/http, freezed, json_serializable
• Localization: i69n
• Analytics and monitoring: Firebase, Mixpanel/Amplitude, Sentry
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or CodeMagic
