We’re expanding our U.S. operations and seeking a Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience testing crypto wallets, trading platforms, and DeFi applications.
This is a fully remote position, ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment at the intersection of blockchain and finance.
As a Manual QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for testing Web3 and DeFi user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and secure experience across wallets, exchanges, and dApps.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to verify functionality, identify usability issues, and maintain product quality across multiple environments.
- Perform manual testing of Web and Mobile UIs for wallets, exchanges, and DeFi platforms
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans based on product requirements
- Identify, document, and track bugs, UX issues, and inconsistencies using standard QA tools
- Conduct regression, integration, and smoke testing before releases
- Validate on-chain transactions, wallet interactions, and API integrations
- Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Contribute to continuous QA process improvement and knowledge sharing
- 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for fintech, crypto, or SaaS products
- Hands-on experience testing wallets, exchanges, or DeFi applications
- Strong understanding of Web3 flows, including wallet connections (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) and transaction confirmations
- Familiarity with blockchain basics, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and DeFi mechanics
- Proficiency with QA and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Notion, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Experience testing cross-chain applications or DEX/CEX integrations
- Understanding of smart contract interactions from a user perspective
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Base Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 USD (depending on experience)
Performance Bonus: Annual bonus based on project quality and delivery metrics
