Software Design Engineer in Test

BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Software Design Engineer in Test 1 for an opportunity with our client

Role: Software Design Engineer in Test 1

Location: Fully Remote ( Candidates should be in Redmond, WA)

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 1-2 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree, technical training certification, Associate's degree or equivalent work experience/training required.
• Candidates must be located in Redmond, WA, even though the role is fully remote.

Top Skills Required:

1.) Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with testing in tools such as Fiddler

2.) Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with webapps and testing in web browsers

3.) Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with testing on Android and IOS devices.

Looking for resources:

→ Must have the ability to use, at a basic level, word processing and spreadsheet applications. Demonstrated investigative and problem solving skills required.

→ Familiarity with product lifecycle preferred. Must have the ability to learn new information quickly.

→ The ideal resume would contain experience with testing; testing tools such as Fiddler.

→ Prior Microsoft experience is considered a bonus but not required for the role.
