Management Information System Engineer

Our Contract Logistics Services continue to expand in these verticals and Morrison has invested in a brand new 12,000 m2 facility in Eindhoven to support our further growth.

The role involves maintaining systems, providing support, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across Europe branches.

Responsibilities:

• System maintenance for virtual machines, network switches/firewalls, other devices in computer rooms
• Remote & on-site desktop supports to Europe branches and responsible for technical advice
• Responsible for resolving and tracking support issues on internal core applications
• Provide user application supports to business users, clarify and collect information for issue escalation
• Work with application/infra teams to clarify requirements and issues so they can deliver the solutions
• Support regional new system roll-out and participate in IT departmental projects of Morrison

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related technology degree strongly preferred.
• Knowledge in FortiGate firewall, Cisco L3/L2 switch, Aruba WiFi, Synology NAS, or similar devices.
• Ability to set up Windows server, VMware, VM backup/restore and migration
• Knowledge on WAN/LAN network, IP routing, VLAN, IPsec, VPN, DNS
• Support computer room infrastructure in maintenance, relocation, and build
• User support O365, Outlook/Teams/OneDrive, Win11/10, Mac OS, VoIP phone, barcode scanner, printer
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete required projects on time
• Analytical skills to uncover root causes of issues and present preventative measures for true resolution
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Willing to travel and support EU stations.
• Experience with systems for freight/distribution/fulfillment/logistics operations preferred
