We are seeking an experienced EMEA Payroll Manager to lead and manage payroll operations across multiple countries in the Europe and Middle East region. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery while driving process improvements, vendor management, and supporting business growth across diverse jurisdictions.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience managing payroll across multiple EMEA countries.
- Strong understanding of regional labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership experience managing distributed teams and vendors.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages a plus.
- 7+ years of payroll management experience, including at least 3 years in a regional/global role.
- Experience in multinational, fast-paced environments (e.g., technology, finance, or services industries).
- Professional certification in payroll, HR, or finance (e.g., CIPP, CPP, ACA) is desirable
- Payroll Operations: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external payroll providers, ensuring service level agreements are met and cost efficiency is maintained.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to statutory reporting, audits, and data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR).
- Process Improvement: Standardize and streamline payroll processes across EMEA, implementing automation and best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and external advisors to align payroll with business objectives.
- Reporting: Provide payroll insights, metrics, and headcount reports to leadership to support workforce planning and decision-making.
