What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery
• Analyze security events using logs, alerts, and monitoring tools to identify anomalies and suspicious activities
• Utilize forensic analysis tools to investigate compromised systems
• Maintain and create incident response policies, playbooks, and procedures
• Conduct post-incident analysis to improve security measures and prevent future incidents
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Hands-on experience in incident response and managing cybersecurity incidents
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanning tools
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certifications
• Strong understanding of the incident response lifecycle, including identification and recovery processes
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of cloud security and specific challenges associated with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Ability to stay current with evolving threats and security technologies
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Strong ethical integrity and adherence to confidentiality guidelines
