About The Role

We're looking for a Senior MERN Developer who's deeply hands-on and thrives in fast-paced, multi-project environments - someone who can architect, code, and mentor in equal measure. You'll work across multiple client projects, including web applications, streaming platforms, and dashboards, providing technical leadership and ensuring delivery excellence. Leading a small team of 3-4 engineers, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the technical direction of diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to innovative solutions that impact our clients' businesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for building robust, scalable applications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects successfully. Experience working in an agency or consulting environment is preferred, demonstrating the ability to handle diverse client requirements and tight deadlines. Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js, REST APIs, and database technologies such as Postgres and MongoDB is essential. Familiarity with modern architecture patterns like microservices, monorepo, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Cloudflare, and containerization tools like Docker, along with basic DevOps workflows. Prior leadership experience managing small teams of 2-5 developers is necessary, along with excellent communication, ownership, and accountability skills. Willingness to relocate or work from Mumbai is a must, along with experience using Prisma and Redis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of multiple projects simultaneously, from architecture design to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
• Write clean, modular, and high-performance code across the MERN stack, including Node.js, Express, React/Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Manage and mentor a small team of engineers, conducting regular code reviews, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, DevOps teams, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of solutions.
• Contribute to the development of technical architecture, setup of CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment strategies on platforms such as AWS, Vercel, Render, and Cloudflare.
• Develop reusable libraries and components to streamline development processes for internal and client-facing products.
• Participate in sprint planning, client calls, and internal review sessions, taking ownership of deliverables and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and integration challenges across backend and frontend systems.
