Please note: This is a 100% remote role, but candidates must currently be based in US and able to work direct hire on w2. No c2c, third parties, 1099, or starting as contract or contract to hire here.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with operational teams—including billing, coding, patient access, and finance—to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide operational support for RCM functionality, charge posting, claim processing, payment posting, and related obstacles.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and FAQs.
- Monitor and maintain RCM configurations including parameters, interface tasks, translation tables, automation tasks, and backend rules.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase business efficiency and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assist with training materials, product documentation, and release notes.
- Support initial setup and maintenance of client system configurations and provider profiles.
- Translate business needs into well-documented product backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, operational impact, and technical feasibility.
- Act as the liaison between operational teams and the development team to ensure effective communication and requirement clarity.
- Monitor KPIs related to RCM processes for optimization opportunities.
- Stay current on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in healthcare IT, value-based care, and infusion therapy.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years in a healthcare/clinical setting with RCM experience.
- 3+ years working with billing systems
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with pre-treatment healthcare cycles (registration, insurance verification, prior authorization, scheduling).
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, etc.).
- Experience with Jira or other Agile project management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
