Language Scientist / LLM Engineer in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

We are looking for a Language Scientist who specializes in LLM engineering for finance to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a grasp of LLM architectures, good math and statistics skills and experience in tuning pre trained models for finance related NLP tasks. Software engineering expertise is crucial as the role involves developing and optimizing LLM based algorithms and applications for purposes.

Responsibilities:

• leading the research, design and development of LLM architectures tailored for finance related NLP tasks.
• Engage in analysis and experiments to refine trained Large Language Models (LLMs), like BERT, GPT and Transformer based models for understanding and generating finance related language.
• Work closely with teams comprising finance specialists, software developers, data analysts and product managers to incorporate LLM solutions into software systems customized for the finance sector.
• Compare the effectiveness of LLM based algorithms through testing methods using financial datasets.
• Utilize statistical abilities to scrutinize financial information model financial patterns and devise innovative strategies for integrating quantitative insights into Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions.
• Keep up to date with the developments in LLM research and methodologies to finance incorporating advanced techniques into our solutions.
• Contribute to building tools, libraries and frameworks optimized for LLM engineering and research within the finance industry.

Key Skills:

• Hold a master’s or Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or a related field focusing on Large Language Model (LLM) engineering along with expertise in finance, mathematics/statistics.
• Possess knowledge of LLM structures such as attention mechanisms, self-attention transformer-based models when applied to NLP tasks, in the realm of finance.
• Demonstrated expertise, in refining existing language models for finance related natural language processing tasks using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Solid grasp of statistical principles to analyze data and model financial occurrences.
• Proficiency in software engineering concepts. Prior experience in creating high performance software systems.
• Skilled in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of finance principles markets and datasets is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation and optimization of language model-based algorithms, for finance applications.
• Effective communication. The capacity to work collaboratively with teams.
