Job Description: Senior SAP PLM Functional Consultant (10+ Years) – Contract, Remote PAN India

About the Role

We seek a seasoned SAP PLM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Management and large-scale enterprise projects. This contract position is open for PAN India and offers full remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for SAP PLM solutions (S4HANA FIORI & Teamcenter) across diverse industries.
• Design, optimize, and configure PLM business processes for both discrete and process industries.
• Manage complete lifecycle of IT change requests, including analysis, requirement gathering, BRD/SDD/FDD documentation, solution walkthroughs, and technical delivery.CV292.docx
• Drive data migration from legacy/third-party systems to SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness (field mapping, validation, and upload).
• Configure and optimize modules such as Specification Management, Recipe Development, Label Management, Compliance Management, DMS Basics, and Change Management.
• Conduct end-to-end testing: functional, integration, regression, performance, and manage test plans and artifacts (HP Quality Centre, Azure boards).
• Lead Agile teams, take ownership of project management lifecycle (estimates, risk, planning, tracking, reporting).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Mentor QA and development teams, provide SME reviews and feedback on technical deliverables.
• Develop custom utilities and automation scripts (C, C++, Java, VBScript) for enhanced data and workflow management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10+ years in SAP PLM, S4HANA FIORI, and Teamcenter-PLM/Enterprise.
• Advanced knowledge of SPRO Configuration, Specification Management, Recipe and Label Management, DMS, and Compliance modules.
• Strong testing and automation skills (Worksoft Certify, HP ALM, Azure), defect tracking, and QA leadership.
• Experience with Agile methodology, project management, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting (C, C++, Java, VBScript), custom workflow utilities, code maintenance.
• Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leading migration projects with large datasets.
• Background in Teamcenter modules (Structure Manager, Query Builder, Access Manager, Supplier Collaboration, ITK Customization).
• Familiarity with Mechanical/CAD integrations and enterprise rollouts is a plus.
