Job Description
Join a fast-growing organisation empowering doctors in business!
Business for Doctors (BFD) is Australia’s leading organisation helping medical professionals master the business side of medicine. Through national workshops, webinars, and online education, we equip thousands of health professionals and practice owners with practical business knowledge to support sustainable and successful medical practices.
As we celebrate our 10th anniversary and enter a period of rapid growth, we’re expanding our marketing team and looking for a Junior Marketing Manager to help take our brand, events, and partnerships to the next level.
About the Role
Reporting to the Web and Digital Growth Strategist you’ll manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase awareness, drive engagement, and grow membership. You’ll be the creative engine behind our social media, content, and event marketing — balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, partners, and sponsors to deliver campaigns that showcase our brand’s value and purpose.
This is a full-time role, ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their marketing career — taking more campaign ownership and leadership responsibility.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate digital marketing campaigns that drive growth and engagement.
- Manage social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring consistent voice and tone.
- Oversee the production and distribution of newsletters, EDMs, and promotional content.
- Develop creative assets (with Canva or equivalent tools) for campaigns and events.
- Track performance using analytics tools to measure reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Support the marketing of national workshops, conferences, and membership initiatives.
- Coordinate with sponsors and partners to deliver marketing activations and reporting.
- Play a key role in coordinating marketing and communications for major BFD national and international events — including managing event websites, speaker and sponsor portals, invitation communications, and outward marketing campaigns for attendee acquisition.
- Support conference representation (e.g. RANZCOG, MPOS, BFD25/26, Shanghai) to ensure cohesive brand presentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain the BFD brand across all channels and touchpoints.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after a proactive and organised marketer with excellent communication skills and a passion for creativity. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple projects, liaising with diverse stakeholders, and using data to guide decisions.
You’ll bring:
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or campaign coordination.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills with a flair for storytelling.
- Experience managing paid and organic digital campaigns.
- Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Hubspot (or similar tools).
- Great attention to detail, time management, and managing competing priorities.
- Highly self-directed and capable of working independently in a remote environment, while also taking direction well and aligning execution with organisational priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage confidently with professionals.
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field (desirable).
Why You’ll Love Working with Us
- Competitive salary plus an annual bonus based on KPIs.
- A company laptop to provide you access to the tools to execute your work.
- Fully remote and flexible — work from anywhere in Australia.
- Be part of a small, supportive team that values creativity, initiative, and professional growth.
- Opportunities to attend BFD’s national conferences and events.
- Career progression within the company.
- Travel perks, professional development funding, and team incentives.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 6–12 months, success will mean:
- Delivering high-quality marketing campaigns on time and on brand.
- Growing BFD’s digital reach and member engagement.
- Strengthening partnerships through clear and creative marketing delivery.
- Helping shape the future of BFD’s brand voice and national presence.
