2D Japanese Animator

We’re looking for a talented 2D animator experienced in Japanese or anime-inspired motion style to produce short, engaging story clips for social media. The stories, voiceovers, and concepts will be provided; you’ll focus purely on visual execution and animation flow.

Responsibilities:

- Create 20 to 30 second 2D animated clips, with smooth motion and strong visual storytelling

- Adapt and follow provided storyboards or scripts

- Deliver 2 completed clips per day (light story-driven scenes)

- Maintain consistency in style, pacing, and emotional tone

- Use modern animation tools or AI-assisted software for efficient production (e.g. After Effects, Toon Boom, Moho, Runway, Pika, Kaiber, AnimateDiff, etc.)

- Collaborate remotely and deliver files on time

Requirements:

- Proven experience in anime or Japanese-inspired 2D animation

- Proficient in After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, Moho, or equivalent tools

- (Optional) Familiarity with AI-assisted animation workflows (Runway, AnimateDiff, Pika, etc.)

- Strong understanding of movement, rhythm, and expression

- Reliable internet and ability to meet daily deliverables

- Bonus: experience with character rigging or compositing
