Mercor is seeking experienced Computer and Information Systems Managers to support a leading AI research lab in improving next-generation machine learning systems. You’ll design and evaluate real-world IT scenarios that guide AI behavior across strategic, technical, and operational domains.

This remote, asynchronous opportunity lets you apply your IT leadership expertise to shape realistic workflows and data that will improve how AI understands, recommends, and automates systems management decisions.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop tasks and scenarios based on your professional experience in:
• IT strategy and digital transformation
• System architecture and technology stack design
• Team management and IT operations
• Create realistic simulations involving:
• Security oversight and compliance
• Project management workflows
• Vendor and budget management
• Evaluate AI-generated responses to complex IT management challenges for accuracy, technical soundness, and industry alignment.
• Provide detailed written feedback to enhance AI performance in real-world systems management contexts.

✅ Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Computer and Information Systems Manager, particularly in professional, scientific, or technical services.
• Proven leadership in IT project delivery, infrastructure planning, or enterprise systems integration.
• High proficiency in navigating IT platforms, tools, and frameworks (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, cloud platforms, etc.).
• Strong written communication skills, with emphasis on clarity, grammar, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Successful completion of:

• (Preferred) 14+ years of total professional experience
