What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Prepare essential project documentation including needs analyses, business cases, and feasibility studies
• Manage and direct all phases of the project lifecycle for small to mid-sized IT and cybersecurity projects
• Develop detailed work plans, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and oversee execution of communication plans
• Ensure project compliance with applicable laws, policies, and cybersecurity standards
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure project deliverables align with strategic objectives
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in IT or security environments
• Minimum of 5 years of Cybersecurity knowledge, including familiarity with NIST CSF, FISMA, and NIST 800-53
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working within an IT environment supporting technical initiatives
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall)
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and 10 years of related experience
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 3+ years of experience working with South Carolina state agencies in a Project Manager role for information security initiatives
• Experience with CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS security and compliance requirements
• PMP Certification (preferred or in progress)
