HFS is currently seeking Quality Assurance Analyst in Eastern Europe with a passion for: learning, assisting in process improvement projects, gathering and translating project requirements, conducting post-implementation testing, reviewing and analyzing system specifications and assisting in the configuration and integration of multiple systems.

HFS is looking to grow its home improvement lending market share through excellent programs and web applications that provide a great experience for our customers and partners. This is a fully remote position that will be hired to work directly for HFS.

• Learn and maintain all our products and workflows within our Loan Origination System (LOS) and participate in the configuration of the system per project requirements or user requests. The position is expected to become an expert in our LOS, but on-the-job training and learning will be provided.
• Collaborate with QA Engineer to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze result, prepare checklists
• Participate in enhancing our development and deployment processes by helping to implement automated testing.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and help developers to reproduce bugs
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing. Monitoring and debugging issues in both staging and production environments
• Analyze current business processes, identify system issues, and areas of improvement within systems and workflows.
• Participate in the development team’s regular meetings (daily stand-up, sprint planning) as well as other department and project-based meetings.

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manual Tester or similar role
• Understanding of software development life cycle.
• Ability to read and understand software requirements specifications and create test plans/check lists.
• Ability to document bugs and troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of different system integration methods.
• Experience with testing REST APIs.
• Understanding of client-server application architecture and different data types.
• Knowledge of best UX practices in web interfaces.
• Experience with requirements and task management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with working in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
• Languages: English (B2+), Russian (C1+)
  

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field would be considered an advantage
• Experience on automated testing would be considered an advantage 
• Experience with bug tracking tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.) would be considered an advantage

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.

• Previous experience with a Loan Origination System or Customer Relationship Management system.
• Previous experience with API testing tools (Postman).
• Basic knowledge of interface design tools. (Figma)
