Product Designer

Pawgo is a business platform and marketplace for mobile pet care services. We are a small private non-VC funded company that believes in having control over our operations. We are happy with double digit growth every year.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer who has had previous UI UX experience. We are seeing the evolution from the usual UI/UX to an AI based transition. The classic description would have been an UX/UI a year ago but as we transition we want a Product Designer who has a very strong foundation on UI/UX but is looking to evolve past to it as voice, agents and chat take over the primary form of interaction.

The job would involve in redesigning our Service Provider Application (Petista) to appeal to the various classes of service providers who sell on our platform. The role may expand to cover the pet parent application down the road.

Qualifications

• Experience in Visual Design and Product Design
• Proficiency in Design Thinking and UX Research
• Strong skills in User Research
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
• Understanding of front-end development principles is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Ability to think deeply about problems and work across a geographically diverse team that spans India, US, Armenia, Algeria and the Far East.
• The person must be trustworthy (fully remote), be able to meet product deadlines and must be able to work in a fast paced startup environment.
