Data Science Engineer (Expereince: 2–3 Years) — Remote → KSA Placement Track

Location: Remote (initial) → Deputation to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) after training

About the Role

We’re hiring Data Science Engineers with 2–3 years of hands-on experience. You’ll start with a structured 6-month remote training program focused on real client projects and production standards, followed by a high-probability (≈99%) on-site placement in KSA.

What you’ll do

• Design, query, and optimize relational databases; write complex SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, indexes).
• Work with NoSQL ecosystems where appropriate (e.g., MongoDB/Cassandra)—data modeling, performance basics.
• Build and consume REST and SOAP APIs; integrate external data sources and services.
• Automate data tasks on Linux (shell tools, permissions, processes, networking basics).
• Clear idea of  ETL/ELT data pipelines; validate and profile datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists/analysts to productionize models and reports.
• Knowledge of Catalog

Must-have

• 2–3 years relevant experience as Data Engineer / Data Science Engineer / BI Engineer /Database Administrator or similar role
• Strong SQL fundamentals and query tuning on relational DBs (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Working knowledge of NoSQL concepts (e.g., MongoDB/Cassandra) and when to use them.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs (auth, pagination, error handling).
• Solid Linux command-line skills (bash, grep/awk/sed, cron, SSH).
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (mandatory for KSA Engineer Visa).
• Clear communication, problem-solving mindset, and ownership.

Nice to have

• Basic programing or Algorithm concepts .
• Exposure to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, or orchestration (Airflow/NiFi).
• BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Metabase, Superset, informatica, Cognos).

Work setup

• Remote during training with structured mentorship, code reviews, and weekly milestones.
• Candidate is expected to clear certifications after trainings
• Expected travel/relocation to KSA post-training (visa sponsored upon selection).
