React Developer Intern

Primary title: React Developer Intern

Location: Remote — India | Internship (remote-first)

Role & Responsibilities

Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end patterns (functional components, hooks).

Translate Figma/Sketch designs into reusable, well-documented components and UI libraries.

Integrate front-end features with RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on data contracts.

Write unit and integration tests to maintain quality (Jest/React Testing Library or equivalent) and participate in code reviews.

Optimize client-side performance, reduce bundle sizes, and implement lazy-loading and caching strategies.

Work in an Agile environment—attend stand-ups, pair program, and contribute to sprint deliverables and technical documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Current portfolio or GitHub showing React projects and component-based architecture.

Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and browser rendering.

Familiarity with TypeScript or strong willingness to adopt typed JavaScript.

Practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive layout techniques (Flexbox/Grid).

Experience using Git for source control and collaborating via pull requests.

Ability to work reliably in a remote team and communicate progress asynchronously.

Preferred

Experience with Redux, Zustand, or other state-management libraries.

Exposure to Next.js or other SSR/SSG frameworks and routing strategies.

Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) and CI workflows.
