Due to continued growth, we have an immediate vacancy for a Junior Cloud Systems Administrator to join our technical team with a focus on managed services. This role can be fully remote based in the UK.

About the Role:

Working within our technical team, our Junior Cloud Systems Administrators are there to provide support to our customers base covering day to day incident, change and release management activities along with supporting our customers across a variety of projects.

This role offers a clear pathway for someone looking to build a career in designing and supporting services on AWS. You’ll work across a wide range of AWS technologies, ensuring best practices are followed while contributing to ongoing service improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to alerting providing incident management
• Day to day management of customer workloads
• Deploying customer workloads
• Working directly with our customers on a daily basis
• Providing excellent levels of customer service
• Keeping up to date with AWS best practice and developments
• Participation in a 24/7 on call rota - after probationary period has been completed

Requirements:

• Experience of administering/troubleshooting Linux and/or Windows servers
• Command line configuration/troubleshooting knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to work on your own initiative and as a part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage a varied and busy workload

Beneficial, Great to have:

• AWS certifications, at associate level
• Previous experience supporting/administering Amazon Web Services
