Frontend Software Engineer

We are partnering with a rapidly growing Series B AI startup in Palo Alto that is transforming how developers write software by augmenting engineers rather than replacing them. The team is building intelligent, AI-driven developer tools that deeply integrate into IDEs such as VS Code and JetBrains, creating a faster, more joyful coding experience.

• 4 to 10 years of proven experience in software development, ideally at tech lead level on the front end
• Experience at a reputable technology company or a top 25 US technical degree program, showing a strong signal of technical excellence
• Clear motivation for joining a high-growth startup environment rather than enterprise settings
• Deep hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• Open to strong Kotlin engineers with front end depth
• Prior experience with developer tools or IDE-related products
• Demonstrated commitment and growth within a company, not a history of frequent job changes

About the Role

As a Front End Engineer, you will design and build high performance, intuitive user interfaces for next generation AI-assisted coding tools. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to create scalable, elegant developer experiences.

You will influence architecture decisions, shape the front end roadmap, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.

Tech Stack

React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Kotlin, Java

Experience with developer productivity tools, IDE extensions, or AI-assisted development is highly valued.
