Overall Job Summary: Lead EMEA division and area supply chain teams; driving improvements and standardization within the area to drive Service performance and Inventory productivity, E2E Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Architecture & Capacity Planning, support the New Healthcare Company Sales & Operations Execution and Integrated Business Planning processes, risk management, Phase-in / Phase-out and talent development. This role will also work collaboratively and cross-functional with team-members and customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Global / EMEA Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing Operations, Sourcing and Logistics leads to create Business strategy for delivering customer value
- Partner with Area Supply Chain Planning Leaders & Area Manufacturing, Sourcing and Logistics Leaders to define area customer value stream responsiveness/delivery expectations, as well as business inventory/cost expectations to establish planning parameters
- Act as Supply Chain voice into Portfolio, NPI strategy and decisions
- Support Supply Chain Architecture strategy, including global fulfillment strategy and execution
- Ensure consistent Sales & Operations Execution to ensure visibility across the functions in the area.
- Ensure consistent application of global standard work in partnership with Area Supply Chain Leaders
- Determine level loading strategies where appropriate, manage Phase in / Phase out & Source of Supply changes
- Global product availability and backorder management – facilitate global allocations if necessary
- Support Integrated Business Planning processes and ensure best practice replication
- Talent Management for EMEA Supply Chain Planning Organization (Hire, Develop, Assign for Organizational Effectiveness)
- Represent Supply Chain Planning on the Global Operations & Supply Chain EMEA Leadership Team.

Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of Supply Chain or Manufacturing Experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- E2E Supply Chain process knowledge
- Business and Financials Acumen / Knowledge
- APICS Certification
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- Ability to operate at Strategic and Operational levels
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to drive for results while navigating ambiguity
- Experience leading large cross-functional projects including using project management skills to motivate and align resources
- Proven ability to successfully influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to drive decisions across all levels of the organization
