Duration: Flexible, with potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance.

Compensation: Our starting salaries for interns are matched to the level of developing countries. After 3 months, there is an opportunity for re-negotiation and stock options are available.

Yurica Ovaerenu, the CEO of Adler, embarked on her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16 while attending Seoul Science High School (SSHS), a highly selective high school for gifted students. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing our innovative 3D content creation platform, including our proprietary XRML language and engine. Responsibilities span both front-end and back-end development, requiring a deep understanding of complex system architecture and the ability to mentor junior developers. The Senior Software Engineer will also be instrumental in breaking down complex tasks and pushing the boundaries of our technological capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining development priorities and conducting experiments for comparative analysis.
• Help design frameworks for statistical analysis and participate in development status briefing meetings.
• Support in writing and managing product requirements, including SRS (Software Requirements Specification) and IA (Information Architecture).
• Manage and update the JIRA board, ensuring tasks are tracked and progress is communicated.
• Update and help define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Provide feedback and facilitate communication between the design team, development team, marketing team, and C-level executives.
• Assist in planning and updating the Product Roadmap Gantt Chart and discussing weekly development directions.
• Support internal briefings on development status.
• Assist in establishing and improving QA processes, and finding and documenting unexpected bugs.
• Define and collect metrics for service quality and conduct reviews of proposals and development documents.
• Support bug reporting and tracking.
• Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams including development, design, marketing, and customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills and the ability to articulate product requirements clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, especially YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Demonstrated attitude and obsession for creating a perfect product.
• Experience in making or building projects (IT services, products, machines, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in statistical analysis and product planning.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
• Experience with test automation tools and bug tracking systems.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
• Experience in QA/QC processes.
• Ability to understand and articulate a product vision and roadmap.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in facilitating communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
• Experience playing and understanding many 3D games, which would be highly beneficial for our 3D product development.
• Familiarity with the features and environment of social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
