About The Position

The Graphic Designer position at Impactual supports a diverse portfolio of philanthropic, nonprofit, and brand strategy clients. We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded designer who will develop compelling visual assets that communicate complex ideas, inspire action, and elevate our clients' work. You'll collaborate closely with other team members and clients to design materials across digital and print platforms — from campaign branding and reports to social media content and event collateral. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills and strategic thinking with a passion for storytelling and social good. You have an eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to translate brand and messaging goals into cohesive, impactful visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Graphic Design. Conceptualize and design creative materials for campaigns, websites, reports, presentations, and social media; maintain brand consistency while contributing fresh, innovative design ideas; collaborate with team members to align visual design with strategic objectives; prepare final artwork files for production and maintain impeccable file management systems; stay current on design trends, accessibility standards, and emerging tools
• Representing Impactual. Professionally represent the company in meetings, webinars, phone calls, and over email. This includes ensuring all work products meet Impactual's quality control standards including proper grammar, proper formatting, integrity, and originality.
• Promote Strong Internal Culture. Supports the development of healthy internal culture rooted in Impactual values, proactively identifying opportunities for values advancement, and working with partners to identify and address challenges. Delegates responsibilities and manages team members to ensure all client goals are met and delivered in a timely manner; communicates company policies throughout the organization and ensures they are followed at all times; conducts annual performance reviews
  
  

Requirements

The right mindset is just as important as your experience. We are looking for individuals who can embody and apply the following skills and values:

• Professional Design Experience. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Google Slides/Docs, Squarespace, and familiarity with Figma or similar tools
• High-Impact Project Management. Proactively owns scopes of work, asks for help, anticipates problems, and proposes solutions for efficient execution; identifies, organizes, tracks, and communicates goals and action items with 100% follow through; demonstrates excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills that contribute to overall impact and produces the highest quality work product
• Meticulous Attention to Detail. This role will include a significant amount of tracking, organizing, and proofreading, particularly as it pertains to our individual philanthropic clients. You have a keen attention to detail, ability to work well with Google Sheets, and always review something twice before completing it
• Effective Communication. Honestly, proactively, and effectively communicates information across teams and stakeholders, asks questions, remains open to feedback, and builds and maintains relationships; observes and adapts to others' decision-making, alignment, and communication styles; gives and receives helpful, constructive feedback with positive intention; understands that people are complex and that treating each other with openness and respect ensures that conversations are both productive and inclusive
  
  

Flexibility. A willingness to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, as well as an eagerness to take on new projects and clients as assigned. Team members are able to understand that our work and our clients depend on things being done well no matter what the task.

Benefits

Compensation. The salary range for this position is $65,000-$90,000 and is eligible for annual performance-based bonuses.

Remote Work Environment. Impactual is a fully remote team. All team members must be located within the continental United States and work east coast business hours, regardless of where they live and work. Team members can expect to travel for work approximately 3-5 times per year (subject to change based on client assignments).
