Security and Loss Prevention Specialist

We're looking for a proactive Security and Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team in Durham, NC. If you're passionate about protecting people, products, and processes, this is your chance to work in a dynamic environment supporting world-class production operations.

Location: Durham, NC

Schedule: Full-time, Hourly Non-Exempt, Onsite

Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate + full benefits package

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and maintain physical security systems including CCTV, intrusion alarms, access control, and employee screening.
• Conduct investigations of theft, fraud, and security incidents while ensuring confidentiality.
• Perform periodic security audits and identify potential vulnerabilities across facilities and processes.
• Develop and deliver security awareness and loss prevention training to staff and contractors.
• Support emergency response and crisis management efforts in coordination with leadership and local authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and preventive measures for management review.
  
  

What You'll Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in corporate security, loss prevention, military, or law enforcement.
• Working knowledge of physical security systems and Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel between locations as needed.
• Bilingual communication skills (Spanish, Hindi, or Farsi) a plus.
