Cyber Security Engineer – Remote (U.S. Hours)

About the Role:

This is a technical, engineering-focused position responsible for strengthening the company’s overall security posture. The role involves a mix of infrastructure evaluation, automation, and security engineering across both on-prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and improve infrastructure to enhance security.
• Support secure implementation within Identity Provider (IDP) environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to secure cloud platforms (GCP and AWS).
• Create and modify automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
• Manage and optimize on-prem Active Directory environments.
• Conduct investigations and support forensics using SIEM tools (Sumo Logic experience is a plus).
• Support risk and compliance initiatives across systems and applications.

Technical Environment & Skills:

• Hands-on experience with IDP technologies.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra (cloud application security).
• Familiarity with AWS and GCP cloud security.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting.
• On-prem Active Directory experience.
• Experience with Sumo Logic or other SIEM tools (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $115,000-$125,000
