Cyber Security Engineer – Remote (U.S. Hours)

A well-established organization in the travel and hospitality industry is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to join their growing technology team. About the Role:
This is a technical, engineering-focused position responsible for strengthening the company’s overall security posture. The role involves a mix of infrastructure evaluation, automation, and security engineering across both on-prem and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve infrastructure to enhance security.
- Support secure implementation within Identity Provider (IDP) environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to secure cloud platforms (GCP and AWS).
- Create and modify automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
- Manage and optimize on-prem Active Directory environments.
- Conduct investigations and support forensics using SIEM tools (Sumo Logic experience is a plus).
- Support risk and compliance initiatives across systems and applications.
Technical Environment & Skills:
- Hands-on experience with IDP technologies.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra (cloud application security).
- Familiarity with AWS and GCP cloud security.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting.
- On-prem Active Directory experience.
- Experience with Sumo Logic or other SIEM tools (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $115,000-$125,000
