York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a highly motivated and highly skilled IT Platform Specialist to join our Digital and Information Service team. You will be working for an organization that has put Digital Technology at the forefront of its priorities to achieve organisational and system transformation to achieve better health and well-being for the people it serves, by providing the critical digital, data and technology services needed by healthcare professionals.
Working to the Platform Manager, with professional accountability to Head of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing critical IT infrastructure and will be a primary subject matter expert (SME) with responsibility for the design, implementation, and operation of the Trust’s platform technologies.
You will have a wealth of experience of designing, implementing and supporting Enterprise VMware, Windows Server, Storage, and Public Cloud platforms. The Successful candidate would lead a small team of Platform Analysts and maintain and support Data Centres located in York and Scarborough.

The post can be based either at York or Scarborough office, working from home 2 days per week.
