Overhaul Manager

As the Overhaul Manager, you’ll be the powerhouse behind our most critical planned outages—ensuring smooth coordination, safe execution, and high-performance outcomes across all stages of overhaul delivery. From scope development to real-time management during outages, you’ll bring oversight, structure, and strategic insight to keep everything on track and aligned with business objectives.

You’ll work closely with our Alliance Manager and internal business units to ensure that every overhaul is delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and tracking key performance metrics, leading a team, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across overhaul operations.

This role will be based full time at Callide Power Station, 15 minutes outside of Biloela, Queensland. Full relocation support will be offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of major generating unit overhauls.
• Oversee internal and external stakeholder coordination across CS Energy.
• Establish and track performance metrics for overhaul success.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, delivery, safety, cost, and schedule.
• Manage interim milestones and ensure alignment with the Overhaul Management Framework.
• Lead a team of coordinators, planners, and specialists with a focus on capability growth.
• Provide high-level reporting and insights to Executive and Board stakeholders.

About You

• Trade qualifications or tertiary education in construction, project management, or contract management
• Proven experience managing overhauls in the energy generation sector.
• Strong leadership experience across internal teams and external contractors.
• Solid understanding of working within an Alliance model.
• Advanced reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, and project management tools.
• High attention to detail with excellent time and priority management.
• Critical thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
