We are looking for our next COBOL Developer:

• Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development using COBOL;
• Proficiency in COBOL programming language, including fundamental concepts, control structures, file manipulation, and database interaction;
• Familiarity with mainframe environments, including operating systems such as z/OS, z/VM, and database management systems like DB2;
• Experience in integrating COBOL-based legacy systems with modern systems, using integration technologies such as APIs, messaging, or web services;
• Ability to maintain, debug, and modernize legacy systems written in COBOL, preserving existing functionality and introducing enhancements as needed;
• Capacity to identify and resolve complex issues in COBOL systems, including logic errors, performance problems, and integration with other parts of the system;
• Fluency in French is mandatory;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and development methods, as well as adapt to changes in project requirements and technology stack.
