• Implement observability solutions with Datadog to monitor performance, reliability, and availability.

• Partner with software engineering teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, streamline deployments, and enable DevOps best practices.

• Contribute to infrastructure security by applying best practices for identity, networking, encryption, and access control.

• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, ensuring continuous improvement of platform resilience.

• Write and maintain scripts and automations (in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages and tools) to optimize operations.

• Collaborate across teams to align infrastructure outcomes with product strategy and regulatory needs.

• Promote documentation, knowledge sharing, and maintainable infrastructure practices.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and Datadog.

• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and scalable architecture.

• Scripting proficiency with Python and working knowledge of Bash or another shell.

• Familiarity with regulated industries (banking, fintech, healthcare) and awareness of compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, SOC2, zero-trust) — desirable but not required.

• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKS — desirable but not required.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• 10+ years of professional experience with increasing scope and responsibility in cloud and infrastructure engineering.
